Accomodation at Beillé de Bas

Hello. We are Sylvie and Didier, the owners of this small guest house built on our 32,000 sqft land. To rest in peace, this 530 sqft residence is designed to welcome 4 persons.

On the ground floor the 230 sqft room has a kitchen, with the table, and at the back the TV area with a sofa bed for one person. There is access to the sheltered terrace of 150 sqft.

At the top of the staircase you have access to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

First of all the room with 2 beds size 35" x 74" each....

...and its bathroom: WC, washbasin, shower.

And at the end of the small corridor is the bedroom with its 70" x 78" bed... (king size)

... and also its bathroom.

The 1st photo above is the garage side, you can park in front, and there it is the terrace side.

We provide basic equipment such as kitchen and dining utensils, household linen (towels and sheets). Cleaning products. Some essential ingredients (salt, pepper, oil, tea, sugar). The visitor only has to put down his suitcases.

You will still have to do some shopping, at the Intermarché self-service store 4 miles away. Or come with your food, the fridge / freezer will be on.

If baby is to come too, then there is no need to carry around all the necessary equipment because we provide the following:
High chair - Bath with deckchair - Changing mat - Folding bed ( + mattress + sheet ) - Potty - Booster seat / WC reducer - Safety barriers (photos)

For screen addicts there is the Wi-Fi, with internet via satellite ( Starlink ) and a TV with few international channels. 4G is available, sometimes, and especially H+... sorry, these are the inconveniences of the outback !

We live on site, our house is 100 ft away of the accommodation we offer. We will always be there to welcome you and inform you upon your arrival.

The environment

This vacation cottage is situated in a very quiet isolated area, surrounded by woods and fields. It is in the countryside, with small birds and squirrels to keep you company.

On the east side are the woods, with oaks, acacias and various leafy varieties.
To the west are fields, flowers and wild grasses. There are no crops or vineyards in this area.

On the south side, the neighbor, Laurent, is a knife maker / blacksmith. Be careful, he is not just a knife sharpener ! If you have a scrap of XC42 steel, you can entrust him. He will be able to transform it into a knife, a saber, a dagger, etc... He can even initiate you to his art. The best way to find out is to visit his website.

On the north side, at 200m, it is the Voie Verte, an old railway line now reserved for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders. Towards Labastide, 2 miles away, there is Notre Dame des Cyclistes, a chapel transformed into a museum dedicated to bicycle enthusiasts. Towards Cazaubon, 2 miles away, you can see ducks and geeses farms. Depending on the seasons and sanitary conditions, animals may or may not be present ! Voie Verte is a section of the Scandiberica, the long cycle track which goes from Trondheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

For tourism and local activities, if you did not have enough time to take care of it before coming, you will find on the spot some flyers, maps and various guides.

Landes, where our accommodation is located, is in the Acquitaine territory.
And Gers, 2.5 miles away, is in the Occitanie territory.

Where is it ?

To go to Beillé de Bas with GPS you have to search for "beille de bas" on Google Maps or Waze, located between Labastide d'Armagnac (Landes 40) and Cazaubon (Gers 32).

To organize correctly, we ask that you arrive after 4:00 p.m., and leave the premises before 11:00 a.m. please.

The rates

We will apply a single rate, whatever the season or school period: €120/night.

A sliding scale of charges will apply for stays of 7 nights or more.

In all cases, thru AirBnb or with direct booking, it is possible to pay by credit card on the internet.

During your stay you will probably meet Malaga.
She is the one who guards the property and will keep an eye on you !
